I had lots of fun at my first party although I didn't last real long. Daddy had to take me home before cake and presents because I needed a nap.
Prior to leaving, my friend Logan entertained me with his rocking electric guitar skills.
It might be June but the weather has been more like April. I've gotten more use out of my long sleeved 6 month outfits than my mom ever imagined. There is some hope that this week will feel more like summer!
I have been enjoying using the Bumbo seat. It's not quite as cool as the jumperoo, but it's alright in my book.
Speaking of the jumperoo I have figured out how to jump in that thing...and jump I do! It's my favorite thing to do and if someone wants to get something accomplished while I'm not napping, it's a good place to put me! If I'm not taking my early evening snooze during dinner, I'm usually in the jumperoo. And if that doesn't work, then someone is holding me.
Here are a few pictures of me eating cereal. I have gotten to really like cereal. My favorite is rice cereal but oatmeal is ok. It's not my favorite but it's alright. I have also had pears, applesauce and bananas. I think bananas are just ok too.
This week I heard sweet potatoes are up next to try and avocados.
What else is new?
- I'm no longer swaddled for sleeping. Mommy was nervous about stopping because I've been sleeping so well this way, but since I'm getting to be a rolling machine it wasn't really safe anymore. Plus I kept busting out of the swaddle and waking up upset about it. Mommy asked the advice of a friend who has a baby like me but one month older about how she transitioned and she said to go "cold turkey" so cold turkey we did! It took a little to get used to,but we've gone two nights now and last night I slept all night from 9 pm to almost 8 am. My parents joked that perhaps I actually hated being swaddled.
- No one has weighed me lately so no new updates there!
