I'm becoming quite the gymnast. It's my favorite part of my week. I love gymnastics!!
We have so much fun on the trampoline
This is me doing ring around the rosie
Megan and I trying out swing sets. After a lot of contemplation, we figured out what to get. It was my favorite shopping trip ever.
My sister takes such good care of me! We have so much fun in the basement.
I continue to be obsessed with "The Wheels on the Bus". On this day, I was particularly animated with my version of it.
Drinking and driving. Don't worry..it was just milk.
We had a fun weekend at the Three Bears Resort. Here are three friendly bears.
I loved this duck!
Me and my buddy Logan. He's such a good pal.
Dancing at the table at lunch time.
Having some dry fun too. We were thankful for the iPad this day as it took FOREVER to get our food.
There was even a BEAR at the 3 Bears. And the bear picked me up! I wasn't scared though.
Well I'm officially a "BIG BOY" now as I no longer sleep in a crib...but rather a TODDLER BED. I call it my "coddler bed". When we were at the water park I got quite proficient at climbing out of my pack and play so it was no longer a safe sleeping option. With a trip to Grandma's for Easter looming, it seemed right to practice un-caged sleeping prior to that. I've done really well staying in my bed. I've only escaped a couple times, and I haven't since there was a little incident with Mom coming over the speaker on my baby monitor telling me to get back in bed. It completely freaked me out. And I haven't gotten out since.
Megan had the day off from school on Good Friday so we headed to the Macy's flower show. It's always so beautiful! I loved pointing out all the different colors I know.
Megan and I and the pretty flowers.
We went to an Easter egg hunt and posed with an Easter bunny.
I loved collecting eggs. I collected way more than was allowed so Daddy distracted me while Mommy put a bunch back.
The Easter bunny brought Megan and me these little toys that we had REALLY wanted one day while at the Cracker Barrel. I got a puppy and Megan got a kitty. Mommy made us each a leash for our animals and we like "walking" them. They yip in the most annoying way possible.
Perfect landing!
The "bye bye" song at gymnastics
My pal Clara and I at the Children's Museum. She let me drive the car so I'm pretty fond of her.
An interesting sleeping position..
Celebrating the Twins home opener. This is what I do every time it's time for my diaper to be changed. Mommy has to say "Show me your tummy!" and I flip over. Mom wishes I could just start out tummy side up.
A rare sibling moment where Megan and I are getting along nicely. Megan read me some books. I do like it when she reads to me.
Spring has sprung (sometimes) in Minnesota. After picking Megan up from the bus, we like to ride around the driveway for a few minutes. Megan normally rides a big bike, but for simplicity's sake, she's assigned the tricycle when Dad isn't home. That means I get her old pink Barbie bike. Mom tried real hard to find me a boy one at the garage sales recently and came up empty handed.
More adventures on the pink bike.
The finished product
Trying it out. It passes the Andrew test!
I got a hair cut before our big trip. The salon wasn't busy and I was sitting so nicely that Sara (my stylist) just kept cutting and fixing. My hair is what they call "a challenge" due to the fact that it is completely straight and I have cowlicks everywhere. We ran a lot of errands on this day and I ended up with so many stickers. I was a walking advertisement for Target, Trader Joes, and of course, Salon Bambino.
At ECFE we got to play with shaving cream and food coloring. Some kids used their hands. I did not. I do not like anything on my hands. But I had a great time stirring with a tongue depressor!
What else is new with me?
- My personality is coming more to light. I am spunky, silly, stubborn, and sweet. I need a lot of love and attention. I don't like to share. I am in a very possessive stage and like to label everything as "Andrew's". This drives my sister crazy.
- I love my teacher Jodi so much. When I got to school one week I yelled, "There it is! My Jodi!" I am going to be very sad when school is done in 2 weeks!
- My vocabulary just keeps expanding and I am speaking more and more in sentences. Mom is my best toddler translator.
- I have gotten to the "do it myself" stage. For now, I need to open the car door myself, climb into my car seat, shut the car door, climb into bed, turn on lights, close bedroom doors, etc.
- I'm very good at recognizing all of the colors. I'm starting to get better at shapes. I can say a lot of the alphabet but still working on recognizing letters correctly. My favorite letter is "H". It's just fun to say. When in doubt, I call a letter "h".
- I've also gotten to the "Where is......." stage. The "Where is.." combined with the "broken record" phase gets very annoying to everyone around me.
- I still call Megan "yeng yeng"
- We had a great time on our Disney Cruise. That will be a separate post that Megan and I will do together. We'll flip a coin to see who gets to put it on their blog! :)
