19 months and well let's face it..I'm 20 months now.

 Hi Everyone,

My mom would like to publicly apologize to future me who wonders why we are so behind on my blogging when she used to blog for Megan weekly at this age.  She is very sorry and says that we went on a lot of vacations/trips this summer along with hauling Megan to and from all of Megan's summer activities.  In addition, we have our house on the market to sell and are moving to a new house.  In addition to that, Mommy spent the last 3 months planning and executing a benefit for a friend's international adoption.  Now that Megan is in school, Mom should have more time for blogging but we haven't sold our house yet and she usually spends nap time cleaning up my messes from the morning.  So maybe we'll be better at blogging in January.

Anyway, enough of the excuses...let's talk about me.  I got this puppy blanket from the nice lady who helps Mommy clean sometimes.  It was her son's when he was little.  I love it.  I wear it around the house all the time and bark like a dog.

Daddy was trying to teach me to swim.  Disregard the pink floatie.

Just hanging out with my friends Caleb and Aubrey

You know just hanging out  in my car, checking my email and updating my Facebook.

My new favorite activity is playing in the sink. Grandma let me do this at her house and now I must do it at home too.  It's not the driest of activities however.
I'm a pretty talented toddler, check out my mad guitar skills!

The Kernel Days parade is always a family favorite. I was much better behaved at this parade.  It helped that I ate snacks for the first half of the parade.

Snack, snack, snack
I love Megan's red chair.  Megan doesn't love that I love her chair so much.  Grandma bought me my own bug chair now so we don't have to share.

Mmmm...delicious shoe

My buddy Logan and me at the parade.

It was also Grandma's birthday so we had some delicious cake too!

Summer is all about the town festivals!  Here we are at our town's celebration.  We made a stop at Megan's dance studio booth.  I thought it would be fun to have an upside down crown.

Daddy took me to the bouncy houses while Megan went on rides.

We also found the State Fair bear who quickly became my BFF.

I didn't really want to let him go...........

Mommy and me!

I love this swing at the park near our new house!

One afternoon Mommy had to make soup for 300 for a fundraiser and we had a showing at our house so Daddy took Megan and me to the Children's Museum.

Water play fun!

Driving the bus is always the best!

I got to go to my very first state fair!  Our first stop was at the mytalk 107.1 radio station so Megan could say hi to her friend Elizabeth Ries (one of the co-hosts of a radio program) I enjoyed the tot spot where they had toys.
The Little Farm Hands exhibit was super fun!  And this is a rare photo of me and my sister.  We don't photograph well together!

This was my bucket that I used to collect my crops and feed the animals.

Just hanging out on the merry-go-round!

The best part of the day?  Perhaps the fun bus ride?  I didn't have to be in a car seat and that was pretty awesome.

Megan and I checking out our new house.  This was the first time I was allowed inside. No more nails and stuff on the floor.

We had a "last hurrah" day of shopping at the mall before school started.  I lost one of my shoes at the state fair so a trip to the Stride Rite store was in order.  We were so well behaved for shopping that we got to go play at the play area at the mall. I wanted nothing to do with the fun play structure there.  I only wanted to play on the cars that take quarters.  Thankfully at this point I don't realize that they do something when you put a quarter in and am just content going in and out and driving the wheel.
Another car.  After playing it was time for lunch. Megan wanted grilled cheese so Mommy thought she'd be brave and take us to Ruby Tuesday by ourselves.  It was pretty much a disaster.  My milk came in a Styrofoam cup which I promptly squeezed and cracked and milk started flowing everywhere.... I flung ketchup... our food took forever to come..  Mommy is not planning on taking Megan and I to a sit down restaurant solo again for a long time.

Our last stop of the summer was to Camp!  This beverage machine was a good distraction for me when we were waiting for our turn for meals!  I love buttons!

Hanging out!

Foosball master
Air hockey fun!

My new portable high chair!  It's great.  It's a fold up camping chair with a tray.  Very convenient!

Uncle Steve and me.

Checking out pictures.  Man am I handsome or what?!

Another showing...another outing.  This time to Chuck E Cheese.  Someone please buy our house (but can we still go do fun things?)

Just hanging out with my sister

Megan got her picture on her first day of school and here is me on Megan's first day.  I am a huge fan of my sister being in school all day.  I have never had Mommy to myself for so long!  It only took a couple days for me to figure out the new routine.  Now after eating breakfast I start yelling "Shoes!" and try to get everyone out of the door.  Now I  know the word "bus"  so I also start saying "Bus! Bus!"  I am always excited to get into my stroller and pick up Megan from the bus stop in the afternoon.
Megan is going to be Elsa for Halloween.  She got her Elsa coronation cape in the mail and let me try it on.  That was a mistake as I really really like it.

I got kicked out of nursery for the first time.  Usually I settle down after being dropped off but on that day, there was no settling and my parents got called.  The next week I had a cold so I couldn't go to nursery anyway so after the singing part of church Mommy and I left to run some errands.  We had to bring coffee containers back to Caribou from the fundraiser so we got a lemon poppy seed bread to share.  I got 3/4 and Mom got 1/4. I really really liked it.
On this particular day I had some pretty awesome bed head.  When Mommy walked into my room after nap time she burst out laughing at my silly hair.  Mom was glad she had her phone in her back pocket and could snap this epic picture.

Megan is not the only person going to school..count me in too!  I started my first ECFE class.  There are only 5 kids in my class so it's very small and intimate.  I get lots of attention so I like that. Mom was worried that I wouldn't come and sit at circle time, but this teacher was really smart and lured us to circle time with the parachute.  I LOVE PARACHUTES. They make me positively giddy.

The bouncing balls on the parachute was just icing on the cake.

Here I am taking care of a baby.

Snack time..always a favorite.  Our snack time was interrupted by a fire drill.  We meet at Megan's school so we all got to go outside and practice a fire drill.

I am also taking a Mommy and Me dance class.  I am always trying to run into Megan's dance class so Mom thought maybe I'd like my own toddler version.  There are 2 boys and 3 girls in my class.  I like the tunnel time the most.  And the bean bag animal dance.  That was one of Megan's favorites when she was little too.

My grandma's cousin made this blanket for me.  I love it.  It makes the best peek-a-boo blanket as I can actually see out of it through the crochet holes.  And since I like to walk around the house with a blanket over my head, it has a safety factor too.

Megan and I playing with our flash lights in a closet in our new house.  My favorite part of visiting the new house is playing in all of the closets.

What else is new with me?
  • I've got all 4 of my 1st year molars now.  So that makes 12 teeth total.
  • I am talking more and more.  My new words just come at such a steady pace these days.  I can sing three songs, Let it Go from Frozen and a silly song called  "Alle Galoo Galoo" from music class and another silly song from music class called "Me"
  • I'm all about cars.  I point out cars, I want to wear clothes with cars on them, I play with cars. Cars, Cars, Cars.
Here are two videos one with me talking and the other of me singing Let it Go
